Runs on a wednesday evening

Hiya all,

I've been away for a bit now, trip back to the UK to see family and work.

My time online now is pretty limited but I'd like to put together something for a wednesday evening (5-6pm server onwards).

We'll see what we can do on the day, be it a 5 man, kara, old school raid, pvp. We'll just have to see what sort of numbers we get each week.

I'm not intending on taking it much further than this but I would like to get something going and am happy to lead.

Feel free to post under this or just turn up. Happy to take friends from other guilds just not at the cost of someone in the guild.

I understand that one of the frustrations about leading runs is not the run itself, but the organization, the questions, the whispers, etc.... ;)

I am so far away from being ready to raid with Scar; so I'd like to offer to be your "Organizer". I'll help you any way I can; by fielding questions, notifying members who is selected for a raid (I wouldn't select them, just notify), contact for signups, etc... That will free you (or anyone else that wants to lead raids/runs) to do the important stuff... Raid! lol; ▶ Reply to This

It seems now with scar that there just arn't enough people left to be able to do any raiding at all.

It's a shame it's come to this but without a major recruiting drive and some serious amounts of time put in I really see no way that scar will be raiding again - at least until after lich king.

It's evident from looking on the wow forums that virtually every single raiding guild is recruiting so the chances of recruiting the players I'd say is minimal. It's evident to me and probably a lot of people now that wow is loosing players (more specifically raiders) at a very high rate and these just arn't being replaced.

So this closes the curtain on that front unfortunately.

Everyone can decide what they want to do, be it stay around, go find something else or whatever.

I'm being sent away to Dubai with work in a month for about a month. I've cancelled my subscription as I have no intention at the moment of leveling another 10 levels, it'll end in about a months time. I'm going to go try out Age of Conan once I get back (all be it at a pretty slow pace). Who knows I might be back after that but the grind of it all has got too much and I want something new to try.

Once I get a char set up there I'll post on here the details if anyone else is intending to play AoC.

Anybody know where the World of Warcraft European servers are located? Someone said they are all in Britain but I am not sure. Would they have some in Germany, some in Finland etc?

I am trying to do a business plan for my own massive multiplayer game and was wonder how they spread out the resources.
